My work is having our annual golf outing next month and to participate this year, I have to golf. I have spent many a weekend on the golf course with my grandparents but I have never actually golfed outside of a mini put course.

So I enlisted my roommate Hannah to teach me how it’s done and we took to the driving range and played my first 9 holes yesterday. It was quite pathetic. While I could get some distance with my drives, they always went to the right. I couldn’t for the life of me get the ball to go straight. Based on my score I think it’s safe to say I’m the world’s worst golfer (it was a par 27 course)

At the end of the day it was a lot of fun but I sure do have a long ways to go!
